Regalpoint Resources Ltd Portfolio
Regalpoint has been researching uranium mineralisation styles and prospectivity in Australia since 2006 and has formed a unique understanding of the exploration potential within Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, Queensland and Tasmania.
The Lead Projects are:
- Lake Gregory, SA - Sandstone hosted near the Beverley deposit
- Gum Creek, WA – Calcrete hosted near the Yeelirrie palaeochannel deposit
- Rum Jungle, NT - Unconformity related in the Rum Jungle mineral field
- Paroo Range, Qld - Metasomatite project adjacent to the Valhalla and Skal deposits
- Pollock Hills, WA – Unconformity related target in the Kintyre region
- Mt Walter, WA – Sediment hosted target in the Yilgarn Province
- Lyons/Curbur, WA – Sediment hosted target in the Carnarvon Basin
- King Leopold, WA - Unconformity and sandstone hosted targets in the Kimberley region
Four highly prospective brownfields uranium exploration projects, targeting large tonnage medium-high grade deposits:
Conceptual greenfields targets in support of the lead projects
Lake Gregory holds significant potential and uranium mineralisation has been observed in the surface environment with results over 200 ppmU. An application for SA government assistance has been granted and stratigraphic drilling will commence on the project.
Gum Creek project will focus on determining the presence of calcrete in an alluvial covered area. The approach will be for a wide spaced RAB or Aircore program and radon survey using alpha cups.
Rum Jungle covers an unconformity which may host uranium mineralisation under alluvial cover. Previous work identified an extensive gold target (Highlander) and drilling returned high values. The prospect was not pursued at that time but will be an early focus for exploration for Regalpoint.
Paroo Range near the Valhalla deposit has indicated high uranium values in veins extending out of Regalpoint’s area into adjacent tenements. The trend represents a strong target which will be followed up with surface work.
The supporting projects at Pollock Hills, Mt Walter, Lyons/Curbur and King Leopold cover extensive conceptual targets which warrant surface field work to confirm the presence of uranium. Some areas have had work done with inconclusive results but a more focussed approach is warranted.
Eight further project areas are included in the Regalpoint portfolio:
• Throssell, WA
• Peter’s Creek, QLD
• Walling Rock, WA
• Balfour Downs, WA
• Napier Downs, WA
• Tomkinson Range, WA
• Georgetown, WA
• Leichardt River, QLD
Regalpoint currently holds 59 granted tenements and applications. The total area is 16,800 square kilometres.
